Finally, make sure the switch on the left it ON with a green light showing.ĭON'T CLOSE THE GEFORCE EXPREIENCE WINDOW OR SHADOWPLAY POPUP. In manual mode you will turn recording on and off by pressing the F9 key (or other key you set up above). I choose In-Game audio, medium quality, and manual mode. A small popup will appear with a few more settings for ShadowPlay. Next click the ShadowPlay button on the upper right. Once that configuration is done, you should not have to do it again unless you need to change some option. I set "Toggle manual recording" to F9 and "Activate Push-to_Talk" to F8. Note that most key combos will NOT work in ESO because the Alt, Ctrl, and shift keys already have other functions. I don't speak in my videos so I choose push to talk. Next choose your microphone to be always on or push-to-talk. FPS counter - if for some reason you need an independent FPS counter, turn this on. Status Indicator - A little green dot in the corner of your screen that tells you when you are recording. I leave this OFF but you may choose to turn it on and choose which corner to use for the webcam vid. Camera - this is your web cam, a pic of you in the corner of the screen. This will allow you to set up your preferences. On the left from a small menu, choose ShadowPlay. Once that is started, make sure your driver is up to date. You can do that from a menu, the system tray, or by finding the program with a search in the start screen (is anyone still using the WIn 8 start screen?). Before you start the game you need to start the NVIDIA GeForce Experience. Then if that works go on to try the 64 bit. On some machines you CAN do this with the 64 bit client, on others it won't work. 
Mine works fine, but not with the 64bit client.
